Our Weekend Lens

With Christmas just two weekends away, it's no surprise our weekend was jam-packed. There was lots of visiting and hanging close to home, errand running and road tripping, cleaning and organizing, and fun.

There was some learning how to pick up cheerios..Mmmmm

Playing peek-a-boo with friends before dinner

There was a semi-yard sale ;)

and being mesmerized by lights and fans and hanging cords

and showing off some new holiday duds - thanks Grandma!

There was an impromptu road trip to Nanny's house

with a little red cup love + perfect oatmeal ... Mmmm

There was playtime with cousins and Aunties 

and a bath in the sink followed by big warm towel snuggles

 Hope your weekend was just as fun! And think, two weeks from today we'll be all done with the Christmas wrap and stockings and ho ho ho-ing!

Our Weekend Lens

I love this time of year. The feel of the crisp air. The sound of holiday songs. The smell of fires in chimneys and cakes in ovens. The sight of bright twinkle lights. The taste of tipples in mugs. Our weekend was filled with all this and more. It must be December.

Our weekend looked a little lot like this:

Why yes, I think I will. 

A little red cup love.

A little card crafting, vino drinking, itunes listening late night

A few snuggles with Nanny at the Rocket

and trying pop`s hat on for size

a bit of brisk walking downtown

a little lollipop eating

a bit of distraction during momma`s attempt at the 8 month photo shoot

a little decking of the halls

and a pre-bath, pre-bedtime strut to see the Christmas lights.

Ah December, you`re first weekend was fun. We can`t wait to see what else you have in store.

Our Weekend Lens

Our weekend was filled with good friends, good food, good hard work + good fun.

There was some chilling by the fire, this time indoors.

There was hanging with friends over dinner on Friday night.

There was Saturday morning coffee downtown at the Rocket, enjoying the first real snow, and sporting (aka showing off) a new mini-pea coat. Love.

There was a much need phone upgraded for D. hello iphone 4.

 

There was deciding on paint colours. As you can see there was much discussion.

But there was a decision followed by plenty of prep + painting.

There was some paper crafting ( + Starbucks)...

and some canvas crafting.

There was a fun visit with Nanny + Poppy. H's head is almost a good fit in Pop's hat!

And of course there was plenty of play time + fun. I love that face.

There was also brunch @ Blue with some fabulous friends on Sunday morning + visit to the hardware store. All in all, it was the perfect blend of productivity and R&R.
